All About Male Privilege: Male Privilege is coming into a male privilege blog and thinking each...

Male Privilege is coming into a male privilege blog and thinking each and every post is an attack on you or the men you know.

It is not recognizing that each entry is truth in some woman’s life.

It is not accepting that she has experienced pain and frustration when these things happen to her.

I want to thank you for posting this because it serves as a reminder to me and other men who have a hard time confronting our privilege, that every instance mentioned on this blog has hurt and affected the woman who posted it. It’s not irrational, it’s not pointless, it’s not being over-sensitive. We have the ‘male privilege’ to brush it off because we don’t experience it directly. But our sisters, friends, daughters, mothers, and other women in our life, do experience this directly. Why ignore their suffering?
